EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM

The mission of the INSCA Emerging Leaders Committee is to identify and develop school counseling leaders within the state of Indiana. These leaders will represent diverse communities, levels of practice, cultures, and ethnicities. Professional school counselors will benefit from opportunities to become more actively involved with the Indiana School Counselor Association and develop leadership skills that will enable them to advance the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students through personal enthusiasm, professional advocacy, and active contribution.

The goal of the EL Program is to provide continued professional growth and development for School Counselors. Our hope is that at the end of a two-year Emerging Leaders cohort experience, each participant will continue to serve INSCA by running for the Board of Directors or by serving on a subcommittee in subsequent years.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a mentorship program. This is an opportunity to become directly involved in the Indiana School counselor Association while networking with other Emerging Leaders across the state. The goal of the program is to develop your leadership skills and you will be asked to utilize those skills within INSCA.
